This application lets you surf the web anonymously, having your true online identity hidden behind a proxy server. It also helps you bypass the area restrictions imposed by various websites.
ChrisPC Free Anonymous Proxy comes with a large selection of proxy servers. It lets you either use a random proxy server or select the country where that proxy server is located. I like a lot the fact that this program lets you activate the use of the proxy server only for some of the web browsers installed on the system, and not for all of them altogether. This means that you can use a proxy when browsing the web with Google Chrome and use your default settings and your real identity when browsing the web with Firefox, for example. It’s a bit of additional versatility that can matter a lot and I haven’t yet seen this setting within other proxy applications.
Its interface is simple, neat and intuitive. There are no intricate settings or complicated menus. It lets you easily switch between its two main modes: the default Anonymous Proxy Mode and the Expat Internet Browsing Mode. This latter mode is meant to help watching online television which you cannot access using the default settings because it is restricted only to specific countries and locations (such as the well-known case of Hulu.tv).
This tool is also free and represents one of the best solutions if you need to quickly hide your real online identity behind a proxy server.
